Common questions
What are the sitemap limits?
A sitemap file can hold up to 50,000 URLs and be 50 MB uncompressed. Larger sites use a sitemap index that points to several files.
Does Google use changefreq and priority?
No. Google ignores both. It uses lastmod when the dates are consistently accurate.
Should a sitemap include noindex or redirected URLs?
No. List only canonical, indexable pages that return status 200.
Is the page I check stored?
No. Our server makes one request to fetch the page and returns it to your browser. Nothing is saved, and the analysis runs in your browser.
