Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Scoped SEO browser extension and the scopedseo.com website (together, the "Service"), operated by Kumail Kazmi ("we", "us", "our"). By installing the extension or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Scoped SEO is a browser extension that audits the on-page SEO, performance, and AI-visibility characteristics of web pages you choose to analyze, entirely within your own browser. A free tier is available with no account required, with limits on saved audits and daily report exports; a paid "Pro" tier removes those limits and unlocks white-label screenshots and reports.

2. Accounts and licenses

The free tier requires no account. To use Pro, you sign in to your Scoped SEO account with Google or an email and password, and your plan follows that account in the extension and on this website. Pro is licensed per purchase and may be used on your own devices for your own use (or your organization's use, if purchased for a team). You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity on your account. If a purchase doesn't link to your account automatically, you can link it with the license key sent to your email at checkout. Accounts and license keys are not transferable for resale.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the extension outside the official Chrome Web Store listing
• Share your account, or resell or publish your Pro license key, so others can use your Pro plan
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law, or to audit pages you don't have the right to access
• Attempt to circumvent license verification or the Pro paywall

4. Payments and subscriptions

Pro is billed monthly or annually through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel anytime; your Pro features remain active until the end of the period already paid for. 5. Intellectual property

The Scoped SEO name, logo, extension code, and website content are the property of Kumail Kazmi. Your license to use Pro features does not grant you any ownership of the Service, its code, or its branding.

6. No warranty

Scoped SEO is provided "as is." SEO, performance, and AI-visibility checks reflect best-effort analysis based on publicly documented best practices at the time of writing. They are informational and do not guarantee search rankings, AI citation, or any particular outcome for your website. Search engines and AI systems change how they evaluate pages over time, and we can't guarantee our checks stay perfectly aligned with every algorithm update.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kumail Kazmi and Scoped SEO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any impact on your website's search rankings or traffic. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Pro features for violations of these Terms, including account or license key sharing or abuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and cancelling any active subscription.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
