Your privacy
This tool runs in your browser. Your files and text are never uploaded or stored.
Spot this in the extension
The Schema tab of Scoped SEO flags this on any page you visit and links straight here to fix it.
Before you add FAQ markup
FAQPage markup is valid schema.org and other search tools can read it, but Google now shows FAQ rich results only for a small set of well-known government and health sites. Add it if you want the questions understood clearly, not to get a rich result. Make sure each question and answer is visible on the page.
After you generate it
Paste the code in your page, then check it with the Schema Markup Validator.
Common questions
Does FAQ schema still give a rich result?
Google no longer lists FAQ rich results in its search gallery. FAQPage is still valid schema.org markup and other systems may read it, so it is harmless to keep, but do not expect expandable answers in Google.
Where do I put the JSON-LD?
Inside a script tag of type application/ld+json, anywhere in the head or body of the page. Google reads either place.
JSON-LD or Microdata?
Google recommends JSON-LD. It sits in one block, away from your visible HTML, which makes it easier to maintain.
